 Spring has definitely arrived!  Hope you are all enjoying the nice weather that finally arrived or had when I wrote this yesterday! 

Skating: Thank you to everyone who helped out with our skating field trip on March 10.  Div. 13 are becoming more confident skaters!  

Student Led-Conferences:  It was great to meet with you again last week to celebrate your  child's successes at our student led conferences, thank you all for taking the time this is an important part of their education process. 

Field Trip:  Burnaby Village Field Trip is now on the portal, parent volunteers and drivers are needed.  Please sign up as soon as possible.  This is a non-refundable trip so if your child is unable to attend we need to know by April 1.  

Class Celebration:  We will have our Spring Celebration on Thursday, April 16th.  Thanks to these families for providing our goodies and snacks... Pizza - Devon's family will be providing for lunch      Fruit Plate - Sophia,  Veggie Plate - Walter, Sweet Treat - Maxyn ? and Popcorn/chips or pretzels - Theo.

 Skating Reminder Tuesday, March 10 12:30 - We are still in need of more drivers for both classes. If we are unable to secure enough volunteers, we will unfortunately need to cancel. :(.  If you are able to help, please email me as soon as possible. Thank you in advance!   A final decision will be made on Monday.

RW Books & Spelling - Please continue to practice the RW books (the one marked with the post‑it in your child's book bag). Students will be presenting next week. Also, please note that there will be no spelling until after the Easter long weekend.

Student-Led Conferences - March 12 & 13  please sign up. The conference will be a  30-minute commitment (1st 15 minutes with your child in the hall to celebrate and go through their work and then up to 15 minutes with me and your child to discuss their report card and set goals for our next term).  If none of these times work for you please email and let me know when you are available and we can make arrangements.

March 13 -Term 2 Conferences (all day, no school for students)

March 16-27-Spring Break

March 30 - (School Reopens)

***Burnaby Village with Div. 13 - April 21 (A full day field trip, ideally 6 parents are needed to drive and supervise)   This will be posted on the portal next week.
